Human drum machine plays Rock Band 26.5 hours straight (UPDATE)

Posted at 6:25 a.m. EST

For many gamers, expert drums on Harmonix’s Rock Band is a level that not many easily achieve.

For one Rock Band fan, however, expert drums is something that he’s seemed to master. Sean Feica, 22, has been playing and streaming video of his marathon run since 9 am on Saturday July 26 and as of this posting, is still going here and here.

Feica, who has all of the downloadable songs available for Rock Band, has gone through 194 songs and has 56 FCs (full combos). Some users on his ustream.tv feed have decided to donate small amounts of money to ScoreHero for every FC Feica achieves.

Update: At 11:45 am EST, Feica completed his run of 236 consecutive songs played on the expert level of drums in Rock Band. After “Won’t Get Fooled Again” by The Who, the final song in the playlist, Feica went on to play an encore at the request of his 2000+ viewers. The song chosen? Why, “Still Alive” by Jonathan Coulton, of course.
